A Day in the Life of an Eye Zone Expert

If you told my younger self that one day I’d be shaping brows by morning, in business meetings by noon, and deep in teen mom mode by evening, I’d probably smile and say, “Sounds about right.”

Being an Eye Zone Expert and CEO of Wink Brow Bar means no two days are ever the same. But that’s exactly what I love about it. It’s a beautiful mix of artistry, strategy, and - let’s be real - organized chaos.

6:30 AM – Brow Guru Meets Mom Life
My day kicks off with the usual: the buzz of an alarm, a sleepy scroll through emails, and the gentle reminder that breakfast isn’t going to make itself. Between pouring cereal and packing bags, I sneak in a quick meditation or skincare routine, because no one can shape a brow with stress on the brain.

8:00 AM – Beauty on the Move
I’m out the door and on the way to one of our Wink locations. This is my favorite part of the day. Whether it’s consulting on a client’s brow journey or training our amazing team, this is where the artistry happens. Brows, lashes, under-eye rejuvenation, it’s not just about beauty, it’s about helping people see themselves in a new, empowered light.

11:00 AM – The CEO Hat Comes On
By late morning, I switch gears from tweezers to team calls. We’re constantly innovating, whether it's developing clean, effective eye zone products or planning our next brand campaign. I love balancing the creative and strategic sides of the business. Wink isn’t just a beauty brand, it’s a movement.

1:00 PM – A Bite and a Brainstorm
Lunch usually happens during a working session. It could be a PR meeting or a mentor chat with a young entrepreneur. I live for these moments of connection. After all, beauty is as much about community as it is about cosmetics.

3:00 PM – Back in the Studio
Sometimes I’m filming content for The Umber Edit, sometimes I’m behind the scenes with editors or beauty insiders talking about trends (like brow extensions, which are still so misunderstood!). I love demystifying eye zone care, it’s not vanity, it’s self-care.

6:00 PM – Family Mode Activated
Once I’m back home, it’s full-on family time. Teenagers are...let’s say, emotionally textured. But they keep me grounded, challenged, and endlessly entertained. Dinner is loud, messy, and perfect.

9:00 PM – Wind Down with a Touch of Wink
After the house settles, I finally get a moment for myself. A calming serum, a little journaling, and maybe some late-night emails (I’m working on this!). Every day is packed, but it’s filled with purpose—and I wouldn’t trade it for anything.

Being an Eye Zone Expert is about more than brows and lashes. It’s about lifting people up, one look, one moment, one confident gaze at a time.

Here’s to beauty, balance, and showing up fully in every zone of life.

With love and lashes,
xoxo Umbreen
